Weed and Wisdom

The taboo subject of Cannabis is no longer attached as it has now been hailed for its amazing benefits to chronic pain. The different variations of cannabis from CBD oils to  hemp seed has been used widely in skin care for its healing benefits, Hemp is the main ingredient in MRL Restore mask which is has grown in population Worldwide.

Cannabis, used for many ailments has been well recognised for many, many years in naturopathy, in fact the human body has its own Endocannaboid system, it is linked to our nervous system and has two different receptors known as CB1 and CB2 ( there is growing evidence that there may be more receptors at a molecular level) CB1 receptors reside mainly  in the brain and they are responsible for cognitive processes including cognitive process, motor sequences and pain regulation. CB2 receptors are mainly located on the cells of  bone formation and immune system cells and tissues which include the spleen, bone marrow, tonsils to name a few. There are approximately sixty Endocannaboids within our body which are chemical messengers which dock onto the CB1 or CB2 receptors, depending on the function required.

Endo means within, so the sixty endocannaboid are what our bodies produce – there are over one hundred external/environmental cannaboids (Exocannaboids) that our bodies cannot produce that also impact CB1 and CB2 receptors which can in turn help to balance the internal Endocannaboid system.

The oldest known use of Cannabis used for medicinal reasons can be dated in the year 2737 BC where the Chines Emperor Shen Nung recommended the use  for “constipation, gout, malaria, rheumatism and absence of mind”

Medical and naturopathic interests lie in the variations of  Sativa, Indica and Hybrid varieties. The difference between the two link with what CB receptors they dove into. Indica varieties are lower in growth and wider leaves and is described as stress relieving and relaxing. Sativa are higher stems and narrower leaves and are described and energising and stimulating. Within the cannabis plant there are roughly 254 active substances: 133 cannabinoids – exocannaboids, 120 terpenes – anti inflammatory and anti microbial and 21 flavonoids anti oxidant anti spasmodic.

Within Energetic testing the signature frequencies of each active substance from the cannabis plant, along with hybrid frequencies of the two variations  are tested against the individuals energetic signature, this can then be imprinted into Anoint and applied topically to areas of inflammation, which has shown to reduce swelling and limit pain. Microchips imprinted is another popular choice and worn for  unto 4 weeks to help balance the endocannaboid system.

You can read  further information on the Energy Chip.

It is important to note, if your symptoms are recent and require urgent attention ALWAYS  visit your doctor before applying for the test.
